Senior Account Manager: Tech PR

Job Description :
Principal Job Responsibilities (Duties include, but are not limited to):
  • Manage the development and implementation of PR and digital marketing plans for up to five Tech clients simultaneously (with your team of course)
  • Drive key media coverage for your clients with the support of a journalist writer and media relations specialist
  • Coordinate and manage Digital marketing campaigns for optimum results with our digital team
  • Know and understand how to quantify value using digital reporting tools
  • Quality assure delivery of the team and its outputs including proposals and pitches
  • Monitor expenditures against budgets to ensure targets are met
  • Monthly reporting
  • Administration of accounts (records, billing, etc.)
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Matric – essential
  • Relevant tertiary qualification. Degree essential
  • Ten+ years’ relevant Tech PR/ Digital Marketing working experience – essential
  • Solid understanding of local tech landscape – essential
  • Existing tech and business media relations – critical
  • Press and digital writing experience – advantageous
  • Experience using Google Workspace – advantageous
